These gorgeous polyester threads made in Japan have so many uses the creative side of your brain will go into overload! As the name implies, they have opal sheen on a base colour. The sheen, ensures that whatever you use this thread on will have a beautiful, subtle sparkle that will enhance the finish of any project.
Possible uses on your overlocker include rolled hems, flat locking, ladder stitch, reverse cover stitch or chain stitch. This thread is also wonderful for bobbin work or couching on your sewing machine, knitting, cross stitch, even spinners have been buying spools to spin with their fleece. The use of this thread is similar to that of Moonlight.
This is a 4-ply thread, which is finer than moonlight and is available on 200 metre spools in a variety of seven pastel colours and one variegated.
