Grooved Foot

Also known as the Standard Foot, this foot is used for general purpose sewing. It has a groove underneath which pleats fabric to form a gather when using the differential feed. Also features a tape guide used to insert cotton stay tape into seams as well as adding thin elastic to garments. The needle markings on the front of the foot ensures accurate stitch alignment.
