Cording Foot

The Cording Foot is used to make your own decorative trims. Use up to three strands of Pearl, Cameo, Moonlight or Opal threads to create beautiful braiding effects. The threads are placed under the spring loaded bar on the top of the foot and in underneath the grooves on the lower side of the cording foot. The threads are then guided by the foot in the perfect position while being stitched in place. The most usual stitch to use to secure the threads in place is the triple zigzag stitch. It steps in three single stitches through and threads will achieve an amazing array of effects. These are beautiful to use on quilt projects, home decorating, and dressmaking alike.
